Colin Farrell approached to play the Penguin in Robert Pattinson starrer 'The Batman'

Colin Farrell / All Lights Film Magazine'Twilight' star Robert Pattinson is all set to step into the shoes of the popular caped crusader in Matt Reeves' 'The Batman'. The actor has already started prepping for the role as well with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athlete Rigan Machado.

According to reports making rounds on the internet suggest that the makers of the film have approached Colin Farrell to essay the role of the ominous Penguin. Not only him but the report further added that adding more star value to the star cast of the film, the makers are in talks with Andy Serkis to play Batman's most trusted person Alfred Pennyworth.

While Paul Dano bagging the role of Riddler and Zoe Kravitz playing Selina Kyle, who is also known as Catwoman, the makers look adamant to entertain the audience with some real cinematic elements.

With no official announcement about when the film will go on the floors made yet, the Matt Reeves' directorial is slated to release on 25th June 2021.
